About the Position

The New York office has an opening for an Analyst in the Capital Formation Group, the team responsible for capital raising and investor relations for Fortress’ Credit and Real Estate funds.  The Analyst will manage various aspects of the fund marketing process for prospective investors as well as select reporting for current investors.  This role has a strong focus on completing RFPs (Request for Proposals), DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires), and investor diligence requests.  This individual will work directly with investment professionals, asset managers, accounting teams, operations, and sales teams in order to create fund marketing materials and respond to investor due diligence requests.

 


The Investor Relations Analyst will:

Coordinate and create high-quality, customized DDQ responses about our firm, funds, and operations

Liaise with subject matter experts throughout the firm to complete new business questionnaires, as well as complete investor due diligence questionnaires.

Assist with the development of a DDQ content management system

Update and maintain frequently asked diligence deliverables

Manage the review process of DDQ materials

Assist with the creation of marketing materials for prospective investors globally including public and corporate pensions, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and RIAs

Assist with the coordination and creation of annual investor meetings (AGM) including planning and creation of materials



The ideal candidate will have

A bachelor’s degree from a top university with a strong academic record

1 – 2 years of relevant experience at an investment management firm or similar

Credit and/or real estate experience a plus

Knowledge of RFP content management system a plus         

Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as a team player

Excellent organizational skills

Meticulous attention to detail

Strong work ethic and desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment


The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $100,000.

The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
