About the Position:                                                 
We are looking for an exceptional Director/Vice President to join our Structured Products team.  The Fund invests throughout the capital structure through a disciplined, bottoms-up, and credit fundamentals investment process. The team will look to invest in assets, securities and loans backed by residential and commercial real estate, aviation or other asset cashflows or receivables.

Responsibilities include:
Sourcing new investment opportunities for our Global Credit Funds
Ability to analyzing new investment opportunities and conduct ongoing asset management of existing positions
Create transaction analysis, summaries, and investment memorandums for recommendations to the Investment Committee
Ability to handle large quantities of loan and property-level data received from third parties
Collaborate with different teams across the Credit Fund

Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of buy or sell-side experience, preferably in a Credit Fund or Wall Street Bank working in Structured Products on the debt or equity side or advisory
Additional experience in a rigorous, analytical role in sell-side research, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or at a leading firm in industry
Excellent undergraduate academic degree and any advanced degrees preferred
Strong work ethic, business judgment, ability to work across different vertices, and commercial instincts

Skills required:
Ability to manage a team and work across a larger organization
Knowledge of Bloomberg, Trepp or Intex and its functions
Excellent PC skills with proficiency in Excel
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with demonstrated experience in financial modeling and projecting cash flows
Strong grasp of capital structures
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities with accuracy and thoroughness
Self-Motivated with the ability to work off of general instructions while producing a thorough end-product which has been expanded upon the candidate’s own ideas
