About the Position
Seeking entry level data analyst intern to assist in managing the data of our commercial real estate investment asset management group.   We prefer a candidate seeking a Bachelor of Science in Data Science, or in a Bachelor of Science program with comparable and compatible course requirements (such as computer programing, information technology, computer science).  The candidate must be a junior or a senior that has completed both entry and many intermediate level programing and data science courses. 

Responsibilities
Candidate must be able to demonstrate and show a portfolio of work with the following skills:

·         Cleansing and preparing data

·         Analyzing and exploring data

·         Analyzing and visualizing data

·         Preparing reports and dashboards

Specific skills needed are as follows:

·         Mastery of Microsoft Excel (functions such as Index, Match, Offset, Sumif, XLookup, Indirect)

·         Working knowledge of data visualization software (such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)

·         Knowledge of programming languages (such as SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python)

·         Knowledge regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.

·         Experience with data automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate understanding of APIs and PowerQuery

·         Knowledge in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing

·         Problem-solving skills

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations

·         Team-working skills

·         Verbal and Written communication skills

·         Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate (or a comparable certification) is a plus
