About the position

The candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of operational tasks including but not limited to:

FX/OTC:

  • Handling daily settlements of FX, OTC, and listed transactions, and booking related transactions in Wall Street Office
  • Ensure timely settlements, with a proactive approach to identification of settlement breaks, escalation and remediation of issues
  • Researching daily FX/OTC and collateral related cash and position reconciliation exceptions 
  • Resolving daily cash and position exceptions between fund administrator, counterparty and internal books and records
  • Wire processing related to daily FX and OTC settlements and collateral movements
  • Daily interaction with trading desk and fund administrator
  • Interacting with various internal departments such as Fund Accounting, Treasury and IT 
  • Participate in a broad range of operational projects, and assist with ad hoc requests for management and front office personnel
  • Familiar with ISDAs and CSAs to research any discrepancies arising on collateral margin calls.

Covering these products:

  • FX Cash including Spot, Forwards, Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDF)
  • FX Derivatives including Options, Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDF), Non-Deliverable Options (NDO)
  • Credit Default Swaps – both listed and OTC
  • Interest Rate Swaps, Rate Caps and Floors
  • Private Loan Originations – Term Loans, Delayed Draw Term loans, and Revolvers

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and recommend process enhancements
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A willingness to learn and work independently as well as within a group
  • Thrives in a fast paced dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively while meeting deadlines
  • Proven at managing processes with various levels of automation, and ability to re-engineer manual processes with a focus on automation
  • Proven communicator – written, verbal, presentation
  • Assertive personality that is able to grasp detailed concepts quickly and operate consensually / within a collaborative and time sensitive environment
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proactive and highly motivated
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $85,000 and $95,000.
The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
