The Compensation/Expense Analyst/Associate will:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including, but not limited to compensation projections, expense allocations & reimbursements, tracking headcount activity and hiring & attrition trend analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
- Develop and maintain financial models for monthly reporting and various strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the business groups to obtain any upcoming changes that may impact forecasting and reporting.
- Responsible for certain key corporate accounting month end close processes focused around the booking, review and reporting of certain expenses. The candidate must also ensure accurate accounting records are maintained as well as the results are thoroughly analyzed and explained.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
The successful candidate will have:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate/strategic finance, preferably FP&A.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bright and flexible with excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Well organized, with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, showing initiative regardless of day or time.
