About the Position:
Fortress’s Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team seeks a highly motivated and qualified Senior Recruiter to join its high-performing team. GTA bears primary responsibility for all recruitment activity across the firm. The ideal candidate will possess financial services experience and be responsible for running the recruitment efforts for open positions across Fortress globally utilizing direct sourcing methods and agencies. The successful candidate for this opportunity must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be dedicated to attracting and selecting the best talent for Fortress.

Responsibilities:
  • Successfully manage and fill multiple requisitions for diverse positions throughout Fortress’s businesses
  • Work directly with hiring managers to understand fully business needs, offer strategic recruitment guidance and advice
  • Develop and executive candidate sourcing strategies including (i) directly through employees, industry networking and by leveraging online recruiting tools and (ii) by leveraging and managing agencies to fill positions
  • Help write job descriptions that build a compelling employment brand and attract top talent
  • Provide continuous feedback to candidates, prepare candidates for interviews and guide them through a successful interviewing experience
  • Conduct thorough professional reference checks on potential new hires
  • Partner with Compensation group to review competitive benchmarking data for positions and provide market trends to hiring managers
  • Craft compelling offers for final candidates, negotiate offer packages and successfully close candidates
  • Collaborate with recruiting teammates on strategies, goals and projects
  • Work closely with HR Generalists on visa/immigration and other HR- related projects
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation and reporting on all candidates and searches
  • Work on projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of recruiting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in financial services and a solid understanding of the alternative asset management space
  • Demonstrated client service orientation
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and the initiative to take the lead on a variety of requisitions and deadline-driven projects
  • Credibility to influence and advise hiring managers
  • Proven experience recruiting top talent through the use of direct sourcing methodologies and agencies in a corporate environment
  • Strong experience working with applicant tracking, CRM and HRIS systems; Avature and Workday experience is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proven planning, organizational and follow-up skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work long hours and respond to emails remotely
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Unfaltering integrity and ethics
