ENTRY LEVEL - Recruiting Coordinator 
New York, NY

Fortress’s Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team seeks an entry level Recruiting Coordinator to provide support to the Global Talent Acquisition Team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized assistant who is dedicated to providing excellent service and support to the team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has strong time management skills. Expected hours: 8:30am-6:00pm, plus additional overtime on a daily basis with little to no notice.

The Recruiting Coordinator will support a team of three (3) full-time Recruiters by:
Scheduling Interviews
Coordinate and schedule a heavy volume of interviews (phone, Skype, video conference, in-person) for the Recruiters and internal Hiring Managers
Facilitate a great candidate experience
Greet and escort candidates to their interviews
Reporting
Produce, maintain, and update a high volume of weekly reporting (i.e. Open Jobs, Candidate Pipelines, Position Status, and Background Check Status)
Complete accurate data entry into Avature, Fortress’s Applicant Tracking System, to ensure reporting is accurate and up-to-date
Preparing Offers and Maintaining New Hire Documents
Draft new hire offer letters 
Prepare and send offer packages to new hires 
Manage and track all incoming new hire paperwork to ensure all documentation is complete
Updating Fortress’s Applicant Tracking System 
Post open positions in Avature 
Update candidate and position status in Avature throughout the recruitment process
Maintain accurate records of recruiting notes for each candidate interviewed
Maintaining the Pre-Employment Processes for New Hires
Background Checks
Submit new hires for background checks
Act as liaison between GTA and background check vendors to answer questions or follow up on reports
Review background check reports for accuracy
Review background check vendor invoices for accuracy and process the allocation reports
Compliance Clearance
Submit new hires for compliance clearance
Follow up with the Compliance Department to ensure all new hires are cleared in a timely manner
Provide additional candidate information to the Compliance Department as needed
References
Complete references for new hires as assigned by the Recruiters 
Notify new hires of clearance and confirm start dates
Managing New Hire Data Entry in our HRIS, Workday 
Accurately enter all new hires in Workday 
Follow new hires through the Workday approval process to ensure timely approval for HR Onboarding and IT processing 

 Additional Responsibilities:
Training the Temporary Recruiting Assistant as needed          
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of job postings and the associated expenses and allocations
Assist in the execution of the Summer Intern Program
Work on ad hoc projects to support GTA goals and milestones as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:
A bachelor's degree 
Ideally 1 year of experience in a corporate environment
Superior work ethic and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail 
A proven ability to multi-task, problem-solve and think critically
Success developing relationships with colleagues and clients
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with an applicant tracking system is a plus
