Fortress’s Permanent Capital Vehicle, New Senior Investment Group (NYSE: SNR) is a publicly-traded real estate investment trust with a diversified portfolio of senior housing properties located across the United States.  SNR is one of the largest publicly-traded owners of senior housing properties, owning 148 properties across 37 states. The portfolio is well diversified in terms of product type, operating model and geography. As of September 30, 2017, the portfolio has 105 independent living properties, 40 assisted living / memory care properties and 5 continuing care retirement communities properties. 


The Private Equity Analyst will:

Analyze and execute investment and asset management strategies

Develop flexible financial models and perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analyses and modeling

Develop, conduct and coordinate financial analyses, reports and presentations to facilitate making important business decisions, including acquisitions and capital raising

Conduct financial and business (e.g. industry analysis, competitive position, growth prospects) diligence and evaluate new product development and acquisitions

Provide analytical support for debt and equity transactions, investor relations activities and the quarterly earnings process

Participate in strategic planning and budget processes

Maintain certain performance tracking metrics

Work collaboratively with internal PE teams to create presentations for management, board of directors, and investors

Assist with other special projects on an ad hoc basis


 The ideal candidate will have:

A bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics

1 – 3 years of experience as an Analyst at a top investment bank, M&A background preferred

Advanced Excel skills and strong modeling and financial valuation skills

Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong quantitative skills

The ability to travel
