Summary


Oversee system development & management, business analysis in relation to Commercial Real Estate Asset Management. Position requires someone who is detail oriented, solution thinker, organized, self-motivated and knowledgeable. Commercial real estate debt and equity asset management knowledge preferred.


Responsibilities


Main responsibility is to coordinate database development, enhancement and maintenance; and ensure compliance with system requirements, procedures, data integrity and reporting. In that regard the position entails supervising projects and interacting with vendors and staff.


Education and/or Experience


Bachelor degree, preferable in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Analytics with 2-4 years of system business analysis & design experience with emphasis in finance and real estate investment; and familiarity with key concepts in database management and loan servicing. Prior programming experience is not required.


Other Skills

Previous database or loan and real estate servicing experience is a plus. Also, must be a quick learner; have ability to work at a fast pace; superior organization and time management skills; quick and accurate data analysis skills; strong oral and written skills; detail oriented; able to multitask; strong problem solving and math skills; strongly motivated with a high level of initiative; team player. Ability to manage others (up and down).


Responsibilities Include:


1) Business Analysis


  • Identify business unit needs (process, system design, documentation, training & reporting) to be incorporated into management systems & reporting
  • Coordination & communication between database developer and business users. Will communicate roll-out to the business
  • Data analysis to test and identify opportunities, weaknesses, concerns, etc.
  • Compliance / Oversight
  • Data Integrity / Validation

2) Database Management


  • Design & Enhancement, expand and improve existing database platform
  • Documentation of Systems and Procedures
  • Establish training program
